They get away with a lot because they play grinding good ol' Canadian boy hockey and the refs like that kind of hockey.
It's not the poor refs are powerless. They like how they play.

The Rangers organization is not good enough. Maybe we can go on 1 cup in 100 years. This team is definitely not it. 2004 Colts vs. Pats. Except we're not nearly as good as those Colts. But this is what it is.

And what happens if a team with a lower tax bracket offers him a big contract in UFA and then in order for NYR to match it they actually have to bid up higher than what they would cost them today? This whole attitude like the rangers are going to let him walk his Insanity. They literally don't have a plan b if he leaves. Some of you can try to convince yourselves that it's a possibility but it's not happening...

That Mancini/Lindgren pairing is unplayable. They are going to play Lindgren, so just play him with Jones, you have to have someone at least try and have the ability to move the puck.
I cant wait for the day when Kreider and Zib are no longer on this team. Im so done with both of them

Honestly, ref biases like that is the biggest inefficiency in the league. It's a strategy only what, 3 teams have picked up on?
What other factor directly influences games like that? Instead we have people chasing what is almost certainly noise in statistics to get a 1.37% xGF edge. Figuring out what supplements to increase VO2 max by 0.94%. Loser shit.
