Lets just say, this game will change this team dramatically. Either we win and they stay, or they will be demolished in the off season.

I honestly don’t think it should matter if they win or lose. I have seen enough of this core to know that we will never win anything with them.
The time is right to move on from Marner, Reilly, Andersen and Hyman.
We need to replenish the draft board, we need a true, #1 stud defenseman, a goalie and we need players that are hard on the puck and finish their checks.
We have enough talent to make the show without the players I mentioned, we need a roster that will compete hard and do what it takes to win in the post season.

I am blown away that Montreal has taken us to game 7, still in disbeleaf that this is happening right now, that this is reality.

At some point accountability is a thing, they better show how much they love each other tomorrow night, because if not someone is gone.

You can't be bumped this many times in the first round and expect things to stay the same, now we can win tomorrow, go on a tear, get Tavares back and still have one hell of a post season.

But if those stars don't align, one of ours is gone.

I didn't like it at the time, when he challenged. The Habs just scored and your going to risk going back on the PK in a game where you've been skating uphill all night, Price was knocking away pucks like they were beach balls. If the game was tilted in Toronto's favor all game, yeah , I might have challenged but Montreal had its legs and were for the most part the better team all game.

Not because we lost but the reffing has been piss poor the last two games, I guess if you bitch an moan for 4 games, eventually the refs put away their whistles and let you jump on a guys back, drag him to the ice then create a 3 on 1 on your favor. I always say if the fans are bitching about the reffing their team is in trouble... well..

I understand the sentiment but this shows that Marner is simply not good enough to play against quality opposition so why is he the 7th highest paid player in the league?

We lost game 7; hopefully Dubas is FIRED!!! And we get a GM that has a foresight and knowledge about what it takes to win in the playoffs and not eff up the cap so much that you cannot even add quality depth because no cap left

I just don't think the Leafs have it in them to close this series out.

If they're going to win, Auston Matthews has to load them on his back and carry them over the finish line. It hasn't happened yet, and I don't know why it would happen now.

Yep. they need to replace fear and anxiety about losing with anger and determination. Just come out in a real shitty hungry, angry, bear a of a mood and play like every shift is your last shift but they wont the team will pass the puck into the feet , they will over skate the puck, they will turnover the puck in the neutral zone. The last 2 games the team is playing like its a burden to win a series. Clear you mind, you cant control if you score but you can control your energy and compete level, the saying Man up is never been more appropriate.

This is exactly why they signed, Thornton, Simmonds and Spezza to calm the kids down and get them ready for big games. So far they are 0-3, first game your leader is KO'ed, failed, 1st clinching game failed, 2nd clinching game failed, 3rd clinching game -?
