We’d have seen real improvement this year if Dach were healthy. Not playoffs but we’d be better. Just a bad break for us.

Ten years is a long, long time.

Dach is the sole light of hope.

This team is not going anywhere unless he becomes an elite #1C.

Even in preseason I didn’t see much from him. He hasn’t been great since last December.

I don’t see any evidence of injury, it’s just who he is. He’ll go on hot streaks and then cool off. And that’s fine. He does a lot for us. I just don’t see him as being an elite player. Expectations on him I think are just too high.
I don't think anyone should have realistically thought of Suzy as an elite player. A solid 70 to 80pt player is realistic. Last season when Cole went out. Suzuki was called upon to be the star, while playing with non 1st line players. I'm actually worried that Suzuki may become the new Koivu. Who I loved, but was never allowed to play with equally talented players.
