Id replace trocheck with him on pp1. But hard to complain man, pp1 is insane and trocheck wins a lot of draws
If Trocheck winning faceoffs is the only reason this coaching staff can conjure to rationalize him leading all forwards in ice time, then there's deeper problems.

Zibanejad, being the #1 center, should have no problem taking draws.

Trocheck getting as much ice time as Hughes, is idiotic. And with all that ice time and all that PP1 time he's got 1 goal. Lafreniere has 4 with no PP1 time.

I don't care what intangible or fancy stat, Trocheck is an ineffective offensive player. Limited skills. No hands. No shot. He gets to layup wide open elite Adam Fox and gets an assist. Great. Laf has been threading passes through defenders to set up his teammates who continually flub the chances. If he were on PP1 he'd have several layup assists right now.

As I pointed out repeatedly, with our new defensive system, it's likely we won't lose a game, with a lead heading into the 3rd.

And that is not as far fetched as it might seem. Most teams win when leading after two periods.

You can put this game in the books.

Watching the kids play while getting the ice time they need and succeeding makes me happy everyone got fired and makes me wonder if Kravtsov and Anderson would have turned out differently
