The Laf hate was always insane. A 21 year old who has played 3rd line minutes with primarily other 21 year olds and 30 seconds of PP time (assuming PP1 didn’t score) with Trouba starting with the puck behind our net. What could go wrong?

It’s funny to me because the people who hated on him just looked at his possession numbers and wrote him off. The thing about possession numbers is that the variance is very high. I have a hypothesis that most people who follow analytics actually don’t really understand statistics.
