When you can be caught if the chasing team wins their games in hand, you really don’t have a cushion.

When you play that team twice you still have control. Not only does Nashville have to win those gamess in hand just to tie, they have to at least split the series wth the Jets. Also, they have the hardest schedule and traded 2 key players away.

Probably just lacking confidence. He'll be ok, he's been remarkably consistent. He just needs to heat up in time for the playoffs
