Really liked the first 10 minutes or so of the period especially, they were skating, backtracking hard, forcing turnovers in the NZ and created offense of that. Kinda let Washington back in it after that. Keep the foot on the gas.

We've played poor teams and made them look like good teams. Please, just enjoy the fact that the ARE playing GOOD HOCKEY for a change, the first time in a long time. One more thing...this same Caps team made us look like shit not that many games ago.

The kid line really does set the tone for me. Feels like when they’re going the whole team is going. They bring an identity.

I noticed he started roving when he and Fox were playing catch a lot. It's a good sign. He saw that they have been too static. That's when things started happening, like the bumper play with Tro.

That's how it was when he played with the Hawks, I'm not sure he's very comfortable playing in a static position on the wall. That's an adjustment the rest of the unit is gonna have to make but they did it that period like you said.
