Kane is one of those guys that’s on a whole different level from even guys like Panarin. Yeah, we don’t get him in his peak, but the difference between Kane and Panarin is that Kane WILL adjust until he finds success. He’s too good, and he knows it, to struggle so he will adapt and find ways to produce, especially when he’s hungry for meaningful hockey. Bread will do the same thing from now til the day he retires as long as it gets his name in the assist column. Kane won’t. Kane will find a way to make a difference. He’s getting comfortable here. I like him on the point on the PP much better than Panarin because he’s way more decisive. I still believe he’ll be our best forward down the stretch. He and Zib.

Kane seems more comfortable up top or on the left side of the ice.

I noticed he started roving when he and Fox were playing catch a lot. It's a good sign. He saw that they have been too static. That's when things started happening, like the bumper play with Tro.
