No way. Seen players get hooked much worse and not get called.
you mean when the stick actually touches them?
That was a penalty? I thought Muzzin made a pretty good play. That's a bit of a weak call.
Show no mercy, light him up!
Maybe I'm alone on this one, but the Kings play seems way too wide open. I like what I was seeing in the first 8 minutes or so, but the last 12 was a bit much. Lots of penalties to blame, hopefully period two they'll regroup.
The best part about the Gaborik trade is going to be the PP. Everyone criticized the PP all year and the system was a bit passive but it was a skill issue, the Kings just had guys who had no business being on the #1 PP unit, now with a PP unit that features Kopitar, Gaborik, Doughty and Carter you are going to see more pretty goals like the one tonight.
Our #1 PP unit as as skilled as anyones.

The most noticeable change I've seen is how much open Kopitar is since Gaborik joined.
Unbelievable how many Maple Leaf fans there seems to be at Staples Center (watching the game on TSN). Geez, Toronto fans are everywhere, here in Montreal, a Leafs-Habs game at the Bell Center you will have easily one-third of the crowd rooting for Toronto (Toronto corporate-based season tickets...).
It's 17 degrees in Toronto right now. Would YOU want to be there?
LA is transplant central.
Is that summer in Winnipeg???-17 centigrade is actually very nice![]()
