That's what you get for not stocking up the instant the snow warning hits. If not for some emergency brandy, I was gonna be stuck between two-months-past-expiry caramel-and-apple Baileys, or going out and signing the pledge.
I'm pretty sure my "wine cellar" could out last a storm of the century, followed by the flood of the century

Because 5 on 3 is a lot easier to score on?

Definitely easier to score on than 5 on 4, but when you pull the goalie it's 6 on 4 + "they can't touch the puck without a stoppage" allowing you to be reckless; adding the extra 5 on 4 at the end seems to tip it.

To ask more precisely, which is better:

2 minutes of 5 on 3 OR
1 minute of 6 on 4 delayed pen + 1 minute of 5 on 3 + 1 minute of 5 on 4?

It is okay to either give up the puck immediately to get to the 5 on 3 OR a couple quick passes to get the puck to the slot or net for a good scoring chance. You do not want to waste 10 seconds just passing the puck on the perimeter.

How could Ehlers decide to go off the ice like that causing the Jets a to almost give up a short handed goal?

How could the SN crew not notice that and comment on it. Its so obvious!

Weird play.

Expecting it to be spotlit in one of the WTF NIK EHLERS!!??? posts in tomorrow’s postmortem.

Man am I glad we have new coaching. Feel much less urgency to chew gum dramatically these days.

Edmonton is very talented offensively no argument but they won’t make it past any Central team in the playoffs.

Definitely, if you're going to play for the extra 5 on 3, by all means, give it up quickly. But once you know you're going up a man, try for the home run pass if nothing else. Definitely don't go behind your net and shuffle your feet until Dustin Byfuglien unretires just long enough to come on the ice and yell "YA GOTTA MOVE!"

I can only get the Florida feed in the Philippines, and boy do they give the Boston pxp a run for their money. I can literally here them knob gobble Matty T.
They are homers but they are also pretty bad, Goldstein and Moller are right at the bottom with McConnell and Nash

SN is just better without sound. Even better when you look away from the TV when it's on commercial or during intermission.
