I give them credit for hanging in there with a great team. Was a pretty good effort all things considered.

Still don't like a lot of the 4 on 4 and 3 on 3 decisions. That's nitpicking though. I was entertained.

Thought Krejci was awful. Eriksson wasn't much better. A step behind all night. Was surprised to see them start OT.

Sucks to see Krug have that goal taken away. He played a good game. Good for the next contract though (if you look at it from a positive POV). He's going to set a career high in terms of SOG. That SH% will eventually creep back to the norm. Maybe ease up on calling his own number though. No filter on his shot selection.

I don't know how to embed a tweet, but Bruins Stats said in the last two games, Bergeron has played 22 minutes against Kane and Ovechkin. Bruins, 3 goals, Caps and Hawks, 1.

A player should not score from where Niskenen scored from with no traffic in front of the net. B's had at least a dozen tougher shots turned away by Grubauer. Not sure what the goal had to do with Chara. The team played great tonight but Krejci on the other hand played one of the worst games I've seen him play in a long time. He seems confused out there of late.

Even though I'm displeased with him tonight, what did he do wrong in OT? Is he supposed to shadow a player all the way to the blue line?

As soon as he came on the ice in OT I could see the Caps pick up the pace and move the puck into the Bruin's zone.

Although the goal was not directly his fault, he does give the opposing team an advantage because of his lack of speed.

The opposition has too much ice to maneuver the puck and bad things usually happens when he is on the ice 3 vs. 3.

If you can't see that, than you should rewind your DVR and take another look.

Agreed. He was slow when he had two good legs, now that he's down to one, forget it. Still, wasn't his worst game this year, by a lot. Krejci pulling a complete disappearing act after a ridiculously hot start to his season is troubling. Guy needs to get back to being a contributing player if this team wants to do anything.

Krejci was lost out there tonight . Two very good games from Pasta in my opinion,he is battling hard . It will be interesting to see how the absence of K Miller will affect the D .

They said on the broadcast that for a game misconduct you either had to have primary contact with the head or draw blood. Since Ovi did neither, he only got the 5 minute major. Not sure if that's accurate or not, but that's how they explained why he wasn't tossed on the NESN feed.

Would really like to see a line of Spooner with Beleskey and Pasta. I think that could be a fun group to watch.

Would also love to see the CONCLUSIVE EVIDENCE the refs saw to overturn the Krug goal. Sure as hell didn't show anything conclusive on the TV

Two sets of rules.

****ing ********.

There is a rigged rule book against the Bruins, and then another rule book for the rest of the teams ....except Montreal.

...the habs don't have a rule book.

Fantastic hockey game. The Caps sure didn't look like a team that was playing its fourth game in five nights. I don't think I'm going to accept fatigue as an excuse ever again.

Yes it would .Spooner had his skating legs going tonight and seems to play a similar game to Pasta . Not really seeing much chemsity between Krejci and Pasta .

Absolutely, recreate the success from last year. Bels playing the Looch role.
