I have to do a double take any time there is any optimism in any post on this board. This is even more optimistic than my take during last game. With a cooler head I don't even know what my take is. It could be a bump in the road or it could be the start of a decline.
 
We're 2 or 3 losses behind the WC leaders. The playoffs are unrealistic and would be bad for the draft and therefore the team. I hope everyone realizes this.
 
It's not 'tough,' Peter. There's nothing tough about it. This kid does everything we lack. Multiple times I've seen him cut to the middle and get a shot off.

You know what this does? Now he wants to just settle for a pass to the point and slink off for his line change because that's how the guys you reward play.

Absolutely infuriating.
You want to work on "the game, the defensive part of it and try to continue to grow his game..."? Sit Laf for a game or two to help develop his, and reward Berard's hustle

And like, if you're gonna have a way you wanna play, and you're gonna be tough on guys until they play that way, I'm all for it, but the guys that play a lot on this team (Laf is one of them) play horrible hockey.

Our forwards all suck a big old sack defensively, everyone plays soft, everyone reaches with their stick, everyone avoids the middle, they don't do anything at a high speed.

In these types of situations, it's usually defense. Ok, again, all of our forwards f***ing SUCK ASS defensively. So what do you want???

They have no idea how they want to play, which others have touched on, and the whole "being tuff on da kidz" becomes nebulous bullshit that they can't possibly satisfy.

And if it was "ride your horses," I get that too, but IT'S TIME FOR MOST OF YOUR HORSES TO BE TAKEN OUT BACK AND SHOT, PETER!!!!

Talk about incompetence...

AEW had Stephanie Vaquer at their shows and jobbed her out to Sasha Banks or whatever her name is now, because that mark Tony Khan lets her book her own matches, and WWE was like "shit, we'll sign her."
