I guess our definition of long range shot differs, feels like the only reason to bring that up after a positive period is to be critical. Hopefully they can get a goal or two here.

They need to generate scoring chances - I like the energy in the period but I hate how we work around their net and our shot choices.
I just want them to shot at the net and let the rest of them head for the net - we really need to dumb this down - art least until the guys settle down.

Yep, when a player has the puck in the middle of the ice off the rush and has a clean shot on net, if it goes in it's the goalies fault.
