I’ll say this, I’m not sure I’ve seen the Blues play better hockey since… I don’t know, Pietrangelo left? Maybe even since Covid break. They are actually playing defense. They are transitioning through zones well. This is what I was expecting from getting a top 5 coach. It’s nice to see. I think I’ll take it over rooting for a top 10 pick. Excited to see if Montgomery can get special teams cleaned up over the off season and what we can accomplish after adding some more young talent to the roster.

Montys a great coach, but I'll take another top 10 pick this year. Fix special teams this off-season and they'll be setting pretty for next year.

Usually I don’t like in game interview but I have never minded John in the both he is a fan and the talk is usually good. The small screen showing him is not needed though.
