I liked what I saw from him in the first game, he's always around the net and digging there, he handles the puck well.

It was good to see him find the score sheet, but I am slightly down on him after the past few weeks compared to before. He has just kinda been out there existing compared to his linemates.

The good side of the equation is he rarely makes any boneheaded mistakes, but I am starting to wonder about an NHL future. No great traits are standing out and his size won't win him a spot.

Now take everything I say with a grain of salt. While I checked in on all the games in that stretch, I miss a bunch of shifts that could sway things

Still thinking he's a couple collegiate years before turning pro, then the AHL for some time to ratchet up to speed and see where he is at.
