My guess would be they plan to use Goodrow on the 4th when Kakko returns and they want to figure out where Vatrano and Hunt will slot when that happens.
4 in 6 for us so the gas tank may be low but NJ is awful.

Rebuilding.
This is not a bad theory. Whenever Goodrow has been down on the 4th with Reeves, that line has been very good for that game. He also will penalty kill and if the game is close, he will find his way on the ice with the better lines. It makes that fourth line much more playable with Goodrow there, which could save some ice time for the other lines.

I can't imagine taking him out of most divisional games, but hopefully he gets to rest up against the Detroits and Ottawas for the rest of the year.

Have a feeling Braun is going to look great on this team, he was averaging like 20 mins per game in Philly. He will not be playing that much here which should yield better results for us, no?

He should be loyal in icing the best lineup. Reaves was good early this year, and is a good person. However, he sucks on the ice now and hasnt been a deterrant at all

I don't care what anyone says. Hunt is an effective player. People clamored for a bottom 6 slot and now that's happened, it's still not enough. Expect to see good things from that potential trio of Copp, Chytil and Hunt.
I’d love to see a Jones - Braun third pair at some point.
