Oh the summer of 03 (I think) when they upset Vancouver in the first round of the playoffs. Was awesome. I was living in Staff accommodation in Banff and when they one me and some friends went so nutty that I almost got evicted.

That's awesome. I had just started getting into hockey after 1999, so I hadn't quite branched out yet to get familiar with players on other teams.

People around the entire league are making way too much out of Sutter's past.

Sutter is a different coach now, Jeff Carter does just fine under Sutter, he is not a Sutter player.

Sutter does understand the need for Offense.

Gaborik will have a pretty long leash, due to his track record of scoring. Gaborik's effort level has not been a problem anywhere he has played.

What Sutter won't put up with, is guy's Like Penner.

Jeff Carter is having arguably his best years right now under Sutter. Sutter said it point blank yesterday, you need goals so Dean went out and got a goal scorer; all you want him to do is score goals. The "Sutter System" argument is so played it's ridiculous. The only question mark on Gaborik is his health. If he can stay healthy and play alongside Kopitar (the chemistry will exist) he'll pot 40 goals.
