You're not suggesting the kids be given spots? I think they should have to earn them. No way do I trade Anisimov to let Wennberg or Dano play.:sarcasm::laugh:

180?

I'm suggesting we don't sign a bunch of guys to long contrats leaving no room for them to even win spots.

And by that time, the guys on big money contracts now will be ready for Shady Acres.

Yeah, there will be some old names moving in the coming years for the younger guys, good teams do this..

Duby and Nick are two guys we should keep and we have, to be honest I was surprised with Atkinson getting three more years but he is a serviceable forward...

Anyone see Reilly play today? Seth Ambroz' redirection goal was pretty darn nice!

Switched over to #1 North Dakota vs #5 Miami on CBS Sports for the intermission. Entertaining game and better crowd than New Jersey :)

Damned if you do; damned if you don't. Foligno & Dubi weren't signing 3 year deals. Hartnell came with one which is why I thought a compliance was the best option for dumping Umbie.

In today's NHL if you want guys to stay you have to give them long term deals.

I'm just enjoying the role reversal here. :)

Yeah it was nice. Collins with the second assist on that play.

Anyone else think Bob looks a bit slow? He seems to not be throwing himself around as much as he usually does, instead being very stingy with his lateral movements.

Bob has had a tough season... He will be rested, focused and ready next year... For now he needs some work as mgt is giving him....

This is karma baby! What they deserve for their radio team calling the CBJ "lowly" and "sad sack" in the pregame.

Gotta say, I wasn't happy with Dubinsky 10 games ago but he's looked like the Dubinsky of old this recent stretch.

That was a really nice PK and Joe put forth a heck of an effort late on that last shift. Too bad we gave Dubi a long term deal...he's wasting a top six spot that could go to a youngster
