Ron is Captain Mittens
Captain Mittens is Ron

But where is Captain Ron?

Literally 0 chance Versteeg is scratched. That's ridiculous to even consider after just one game.

Sucks man, I consider Mittens and Ron two of the "leaders" of this board. Sad to see them gone

Sad to see Captain Mittens gone. He kept things lighthearted around here with no ego. His goofy jokes and gifs made other Kings fans in on the joke, not the butt of it. Big loss to this forum.

"Did someone ask for me?"

I enjoy wathing Kings games, with the exception of having to listen to Jim Fox and his singing sentence structure. Am I the only one who notices that he ends every sentence as though he is ending a haiku or something? Just a weird inflection to his voice after he makes a point. I dunno, maybe I'm being picky but I find it distracting that I will sometimes pick the other teams broadcast , but no way am I listening to Hayward on the Ducks side today. He's just a tool

His inflection at the end of sentences is well documented and noted by many, as is his excitement. It's what makes him great, different, and part of the voice of the Kings. Our crew is top notch.

ETA -- his ranting about officiating (mostly, lately) is only mildly annoying.
