Let's Win It All
Linus was incredible. We needed this from him. It came at the right time. What a performance. That save on Raymond before the PP was everything.
But 2 players stood out in a very bad way.
1. Thomas Chabot: I watched the game very closely, he was very, very poor. Made a couple breakouts but he looked soft, he fumbled it several times, and was not as engaged as the rest of the D. A few times he could have clearly made a play to get the puck but looked like it was shinny. Was a really poor performance by Chabot. However, a lot of it was post the hit by the ref, not sure if that was a factor.
2. Batherson. He was neutralized as easy as ABC. Barely did anything with the puck and the D had the easiest time retrieving it whenever it came near him. However, to be effective he needs speed. Perron 5on5 was not that great at all. So I'll also include Perron here but he's just too high up the lineup.
The defense was also peppered several times but that is to be expected by a very desperate Wings team.
