biggest game of the season.
Kings 2-1 OT (why go crazy and expect a lot of goals?)
Last thing the Habs fans want is a loser point. So I say go for it
the habs are the worst team in the NHL, there's no excuse the Kings have to win this one
No excuses if they lose this.
No excuse to lose this game. None.
Just lol. Any team in the NHL can beat any other team on a given night.
The Ducks are 25-2-2 since Christmas, so while that is usually an appropriate cliché, there has been a VERY long stretch now where no one could beat Anaheim on any given night for over 2 months now.
I just hope the streak comes crashing to a halt on Saturday.

Its a b2b for the Habs and the Kings have had 3 days off, they should be itching to rip into the Habs, unless they're saving themselves for the Ducks on Saturday.

Anyone has a chance of getting struck by lightning every day. Just a minuscule chance.
Good teams are supposed to win against ****** teams, and there is a high correlation between win percentage and how skilled a team is.

Or we'll come out slow in the first and slowly get back to speed. Seems to be the way things go when we get a long break.
i hope it comes to a halt tonight and that it is the start of a losing streak
Those were not even easy wins like they should have been. Those wins were pretty damn ugly and hard fought. To LA's credit they did just beat Calgary, Edmonton, Buffalo. had the kings dropped even one of those games people would have been screaming their ***** off.
Actually, 4 teams apparently did.
Big difference between ought to win and will win.
People here are very fond of hyperbole and absolutes. "Our defense is complete trash", "Brown can no longer play hockey", "this game is a must win", "there is no way the Kings can beat Chicago with this lineup", etc, etc
Brown has been absolute RUBBISH.
Excited to see what Versteeg can do. Should be amped up to go from a downtrending Canes team to LA.
No mercy for the Habs. 50 years of losing to them, this is the time to tilt that back a bit.
Carolina is not making the playoffs this year (even with versteeg and Staal) but they are not downtrending.
