Top guys have been missing passes the entire night and it finally cost them twice. That’s a lack of detail with this team. If it isn’t easy, then they make the high risk play anyways

TBH the last 4 years or so the Leafs have lost in the playoffs not due to toughness or whatever, but because of their special teams. Hopefully they get it together this playoffs. Minimizing SHG against would be a start.

Mostly because their star players give a damn. Pointe has been modern day Gilmour
Vasi has been Roy equivalent

You win when your best players bring somethign extra. Not just points

I have never seen a lethergic effort from Matthews. He needed to put his head down and skate on that 2nd goal. He was so casual

Dubas and Keefe really can't do much if players don't care. That's a classic Bobby Ryan special. As of right now thats what Matthews is. Bobby Ryan

That would lead me to believe that his knee is not 100%.

The fact that it hasn't happened before would be the evidence.
