yep that disproves my thesis, there's one Canadian Wings fan

so of those 28 (28!) Canadian refs, how many of those do you think are fellow Wings fans?

And how many do you suppose were Leafs fans during their childhood, between say 2006 and 2016 (these are mostly young men but not terribly young) when the Wings were great and the Leafs were...not?

I can tell you one thing for sure: I could not officiate a Penguins game, and do a fair job of it, because I loathe that franchise. Hell if a penguin got out of its enclosure at the zoo I might punt the son of a bitch.

You're really stretching it here.

Every fanbase feels like they're screwed by the refs.

Yeah.. I dunno buddy, I'm not sure I agree with you here. There's a good amount of Canadian Wings fans in Ontario due to the proximity of Windsor to Detroit.

I'm from Ottawa, and I see the wings hats and jerseys around the city from time to time. They see my hat, and we greet each other with a smile or a "go wings".
