It’s taboo to blame the goalie live. Do you remember last year everyone was making every possibly excuse for our goalies. Pre game show post game show announcers. Then the second korpisalo was traded “oh yea he wasn’t good”

The goal is frustrating but the rule has been around for a while now, and this is the exact scenario it is intended for, that should be a good goal, the only thing that would have prevented it is a bad choice by a ref to stop play early.

The rule is simple, if the whistle blows the play is dead, end of story no exceptions. It’s always been that way. I’ve read the rule book and there’s nothing in there to the contrary.

The first goal on Ullmark was bad, but it's a bit hard to blame him on the 2nd one. That was a wicked fast release that went bar down.

Like, we've given up 10 shots through 26 minutes and none of them were particularly great, but we're down 2-1. We just can't have a #1 goalie who hands the other team leads like this in March.
