I really don't have a problem with it. Just because they do doesn't mean they should. It was thr right call. If anything I have a problem with the players leaving Shesterkin out to dry without knowing where the puck was. They did nothing.
It's a systems issue. No one does anything to attack. Whip it around and eventually take a hope shot/pass or turn it over.
For sure. It was a questionable call but I’m just saying it wasn’t clearly wrong. Or actually it was closer to right than wrong I’d say. The non-calls last game, though, were truly nauseating.
Yeah. I think there was talk of the rangers letting him walk a couple of summers ago, right? Strome resuscitated his status on the team since then but I think he has reverted to floater and the FO knows it. I have vacillated between ‘sign him for cheap’ and ‘let him walk’. But I’m squarely in the Walk camp.
that was my thought as well. you don't hear a whistle, start bodying guys if you don't know where the puck is in front of your net.
The front office has been trying to trade him literally every summer he’s been here and each time they realize “oh this guy isn’t worth much, may as well keep him”
