You’re right but the puck was definitely loose. It’s a judgement call there. Can’t really complain too much there, I think.

On one of the replays, ref not only skates closer to Shesty, he's actually raising his hand to blow the whistle.

If that wasn't an attempt to blow the whistle, then I don't know what is.
