Marc Denis wanted to fight Martin Lemay today on On jase.
Just now watched it. There were a few ice cold moments where you could tell Marc Denis was angered by statements that Lemay had made. There was palpable tension for several minutes but they were able to move past it.

For those who want to view it, Denis joins the show near the 30 minute mark: On Jase - 2 mars 2023

I’m not a fan of Yannick Lévesque who comes across as a clownish « bonasse» who doesn’t add much substance to any discussion.

However, Marc Denis’ breadth and wealth of knowledge is impressive, the way he’s able to repackage info into a clear and concise manner while talking at lightning speed that could give Monty a run for his money.

You get a lot of behind the scenes takes from Denis as well as bits of scouting that help you appreciate the nuances of a player’s tendencies, his strengths and his shortcomings. He can give you a scouting report about any player within seconds and sounds authoritative doing it. I wonder if there are individuals in the pro scouting community that might call him for insight cause he’s really sharp.

Martin Lemay thinks he knows hockey because he hangs out with Guy Boucher. He spat on Cole Caulfield for two years, saying he would not amount to much. Boucher agreed and was picking on all of Cole's defensive lapses during his first season with Douche. They infuriated me. Lemay is a sieve. I have no respect for a guy who thinks he knows but doesn't.

What were they talking about?
Lemay made a flippant comment about how the Kings didn’t owe Quick anything as he was well paid for almost 10 years while he was a King. He added that they could get him a statue as a thank you but that he was already rewarded and how it had been a year that Quick was no longer doing the job so he was disposable.

Guy Boucher was part of the segment for a time and mentioned how difficult it is for someone to be terminated, how tough it is to tell your family, how your kids will be devastated for losing their friends and their school, getting uprooted to another city.

Lemay kind of downplayed the emotional and psychological, family fallout of it by saying how athletes making millions could always land on their feet and it’s not so bad when you’re making $5 Million per year versus some schlub only making $50 K and who loses his job. I believe this is when Denis reached his boiling point and snapped back.

Yeah it's pretty much that (I was watching it after you posted the link).

I understand Lemay's point to some extent. Quick is UFA with no NTC/NMC. Sucks for him to be traded this way and at this moment in his career.. but it's pretty much over too. He'll be free to do whatever he wants in 2 months

Agreed.
Quick was monumental in 2 Cup wins for this team. He deserves a bit more respect, business or not.

That’s exactly why Lemay is a prick.

Breaking News!!

Edmundson will not be playing tonight or the foreseeable future... he injured himself while taping his stick in the dressing room.

It is believed to be a mid body injury.

More details to come!
I think you mean to say he has mid-body post-concussion illness-like symptoms
