LOL My Ole Man just tied up my skates set me on the ice and told me to "skate" around to the visitor's bench and ask them if I could play with them. Obviously in those days the benches were on opposite sides. I don't remember how long it took me but I do know the lads were two years older than me I spent a long time in Atom and didn't touch the puck much for two years running.
