how bout some loving for martin jones. Guy went big game on us, like Quick. He had some ridiculous 3rd period saves. With his athleticism and size, makes me wonder if he's going to overtake quick one day

Pearson was terrible, he was over matched all over the ice.

But he is young, Needs more AHL.

Pearson has a bad habit of not moving his feet, it shows up every where on the ice.
whats up with you, constantly calling out the youngsters? You do this everytime. I Just knew you would be the first one to bash Pearson. I do not disagree with it though. Its just annoying to read it all the time. Even when all veterans fail, you come up with toffoli, Pearson or whoever.

I do agree that people are tough on the new kids a lot.

Great... 4 lines generating chances. Jones holding his own against a good offense.

Glad the avalanche D was so porous, even happier the Kings were able to capitalize.
Christ did Duchene and ROR skate circles around our d all night.
I am going to the game tonight!!
GO kINGS GO!

Hey guys, long time Kings fan but just been lurking around these boards for a year haha. Anyway glad to see the boys get a gritty win (where we actually scored a couple) instead of the good ol' 1-0 comeback where we lose in OT. Hope we have the legs for another win tomorrow

We could have used a few more OT losses thru January...

I don't even know what his deal is. It's not like he's overthinking, just getting caught flat-footed a lot, which shouldn't happen to someone who won the AHL fastest skater. Total bummer to watch his entire game just not work right now. I'm sure a lot of it is simply confidence too. Nothing to do at this point but cheer him on until he inevitably turns it on in the playoffs!

I would like to think having himself and the rest of the national team embarrassed on home ice will kinda screw with a young players confidence.

Pretty surprised actually that the thread on the main board only has like 4 posts in it. Was expecting 10 pages of "dirty headshot elbow attempt zomgsuspendhim!!!!"

haha ok I will go look there.
Sucks that it was a king, and glad he seems alright but it made me laugh. definitely looked like it was going to be a dirty hit had he connected.

voynov was terrible in last night's game. Very disappointing...

Isn't Girardi on the block? Wouldn't mind swapping him for Slava right now.

Hope he gets his game together soon.

If we were guaranteed that Girardi would re-sign then sure.

one mediocre season and you want him gone? ....:help:

This was a real character win on so many levels. From the offense showing up, to Kopitar dominating the way we all know he can, to coming back and scoring four unanswered goals, this was a HUGE boost. The power play clicking was a very big bonus. Keep rolling boys. Every point is vital.

This breaks my heart.

Kopi, Stolly, and Joner all get a gold star from me tonight.

Joner. lol

He does which is strange, cause he was just fine on Fox Sport West.

He looks stiff and robotic on NHL overtime.

Actually, I thought he was exactly the same on FSW.

Pretty standard PGT. 1 page of "yay we won" and 3 pages of "OMG Slava is having the worst year in NHL history trade him"
Just surprised there has been no Brown bashing...

Brown is really bad. He should take the rest of the year off.

I'm one of his biggest critics but I don't think he was that bad last night (aside from the few shifts where his entire line looked lost when they were caught in their own end). He setup the 2nd goal and was one of the few physical presences on the ice for the Kings last night. He was fine.

I was more concerned with how slow and tired Mitchell, Greene and Regehr looked and the constant blunders of Slava Voynov.
