I feel for Marchand though. He is laboring through this poor season. You can see the frustration. He has played his whole career surrounded by some elite players, Hall of Famers, most of the teams have been a tight knit group, and they have won plenty. Now this. It has to be a brutal kick in the nuts. He's not happy. I'm not happy. Nobody is happy. But even the best teams usually go through some down years after their great players move on. Passage of time stuff. Marchand is last man standing from the golden years. Can't be fun.
What's important now is the steps the team starts taking to get to the other side of the valley. It can begin in the next week and I sure hope it does.
