Well it's pretty obvious that Sorokin did for them what Swayman isn't doing for us this year. Otherwise two loser teams with completely inept offenses playing their way to the bottom.

Watching the Blue Jackets Detroit game in replay right now and realizing that our bargain pick up and subsequent cast off James Van Reimsdyk has 26 pts. for them and would be 7th in scoring on the Bruins right now with Columbus likely being one of the wildcards. Just an observation.

Right now I kind of think they should not just retool but maybe blow this whole thing up. Team is garbage.

Once Marchand is gone, and if the team isn't showing any better, how long until Pasta asks to be traded? He's 28 and imo deserves another chance at a Cup. If Gretzky can be traded, anyone can.

Why would Pasta want to be traded? Boston has some of the best clothing stores in the country.

Just get into the top 8 for the draft Bruins.

Sell and get assets to use to combine to trade for a 1st line C.

1st for Carlo.
1st for Frederic.

They don't have the assets to land a 1C via trade. Besides, teams don't trade away top centers. Extremely rare, for good reason. What they can do is try and get as high in the draft first round as possible and acquire a potential 1C that way. Will take some time and luck to develop, but that's far and away their best hope of getting that piece. And it's a piece they can't do without.
