The way Trudeau has looked early on I can safely say he is closer to Trois-Riviere than he is to Montreal. Struble has been lights out better than Norlinder as well.
I have not watched any Laval games wa basing that of Trudeau looking kay in camp. Norlinder may be one of those guys better suited to NHL game than AHL game- sometimes see it with the Europeans.

Ylonen has skill, he can better show it in the top 6.
He also would be great on the 2nd PP playing in the same place as Caufield.he has an impressive one timer.
Exactly stack the top 6.
NewHook as a center just doesn't work. Monahan been great on faceoffs.
With Dvorak coming back in November should fix things as 3rd center

When yo have to call back Lindstrom, it means that your depth on D is not that deep.
Not really : Norlinder Mailloux Trudeau are likely already better players but they don t want to harm their development, which is smart for once ;)

Also Lindstrom was called after two injuries, i.e. he is 8th or 9th (Wideman) in the depth chart, i.e. nothing great but nothing bad.

Depth isnt the concern here. Its the top end quality thats not there. You can have all the depth in the world, but if you only have depth, its never gonna move the needle

Lindstrom is the one recalled because due to his experience, he is the best plug and play option. Mailloux and the gang will need a lot more coaching and sheltering.

It has nothing to do with the development. Like it would harm any of them to have NHL experience.

I mean, its a tough league but sometimes reading people here you feel like playing in the NHL is a similar experience than going to a federale state maximum protection jail in the USA.

RHP has struggles folks............Ylonen deserves a shot at moving up for sure.

I'm not seeing RHP as much as I did last year. Actually, he looked better on the 4th line.

As of right now, the Suz-Caufield line is ejecting every third wheel they're put with. The only ones that work with them are Dach and Monahan who are both similar players who can temporize the play and create space and time for those two.

I just wish Suzuki played more like that.

Ylonen has been far superior than RHP . Stephens Mitchell the ahler center we have
It's Mitchell Stephens.

With Dvorak's return, we might see Monahan being put with them. Monahan can win faceoffs too for that line.

I was saying the same to my buddy last night. Ylonen should sub in to that spot for Gallagher. Slaf has a really nice hard cross seam pass that he hit Gallagher with a couple times the last two games but Gallagher couldn't do anything with it. Ylonen has a wicked one timer from there and would be able to use those passes.

Coming up.

MSL really talks to the media everyday.

I've never seen a coach in any sport be as available to them as he does. I feel like this year it's starting to get a little bit redundant because his answers are not as juicy.

It helps to relieve pressure from the team, but I am concerned for his mental well-being.

Toffoli had a pretty short yet memorable time in Montreal. Really liked him here but it was the right move for both sides for him to go.
It was SO great,
He is the rare player we won't boo when he comes back (I sure hope lol)
Love every second of Tyler f***in Toffoli man, born to be a hab
