Is there a team with worse hand-eye coordination than the Habs? How many pucks just easily go through their legs or sticks like they weren't even there? How many 50/50 loose pucks they're not able to recover? It's crazy
It's driving me crazy, it's like the players regress once they join the Habs. It's not even a MSL thing, it was like that under Julien/Ducharme too.

He's not that good of a grinder, due to the fact he's not that good at cycling the puck. He's at his best on the rush. Every time he looks like he's improved, he regresses for like 5 games after that. Don't know what to think about him, as I think his size and strength is needed on this team. Xhekaj can't be the only one who can step up. At the same time, he's a tough player to put in a lineup since he doesn't gel with anyone.
He doesn't step up anymore. That would be Pezzetta and Xhekaj

That’s exactly why he shouldn’t be anywhere near the PP. Good on the rush/counter. Absolutely awful if the puck is on his stick for more than 2 seconds since he can’t think or pass. Heck he can’t even one-time it. He shouldn’t be on the man advantage.

Anderson's hockey IQ be like

I was more open to the idea of him being up when Dach was here. I think it actually would’ve worked.

But now? Yeah… I think I’d send him down.

Agreed. There was chemistry with Dach and he was another tall player he could learn from. Now though, he's being played like a grinder. I just don't see the point and whatever management says, I don't think it's good for a young player to go long stretches without scoring. Even if he plays well, there's an impact on his confidence.

Exactly this has been going on for a while now. It's got to be something in the Montreal water haha.

No joke.
It's still early but I'm getting worried.
Separation from CC could help both players
Yeah it's become far too easy to bottle them up. Our lack of talent/depth on the wing doesn't help. We haven't had two top lines working at once in decades.

We've definitely reached the time yeah

I was always against trading because he's 6"3, but he might as well be 5"11 right now
that s what I have been saying for years. Don t care about inputs, size skating don t win cups, points do on the offense, takeaways, hits on the defense, high hockey IQ on both ends, all those things win cups.

I think it's just the effect of playing on a team with poor forwards. This team hasn't had premium forwards since Kovalev in '08 and that was for just one year.
