Yes but that is not as fun to meme.
Lol nice

Real talk though, zone entries haven't been terrible, their biggest issue is they can't figure out how to get their face off the glass…theyre constantly picking pucks off the boards and not attacking the middle of the ice or allowing the PK box to keep its shape.

Maddening

Even if Slaf has improved, I would really like to hear HuGo explain with more detail why they can't send him down. Play him with Roy on the other wing and see his confidence get a boost. He'll also learn from a high IQ offensive player at the same time.

Lindstrom had better moments in this period than he had when you adda all the games he played in the AHL....

So much talent on that stupid Devils team.
2022: 2nd oa
2021: 4th oa
2020: 7th oa
2019: 1st oa
2018: 17th (trade Ty Smith away)
2017: 1st oa
2016: 12th ao
... (goes farther but I think they traded all the guys before this point)

I really hope it's not just a matter of big egos not wanting to admit they were wrong, AHL would 100% be good for him.

If they want to focus developing Pearson and Anderson, send down Slaf for him to play with Roy and Andersson. We are treating him as if he's a bottom 6 grinder instead of a 1st OA. Cooley is getting a million minutes a night and is stapled next to Schmaltz and Keller on the PP to boost his confidence offensively.

Every fan, from every team that struggles on the PP, thinks their team is the only team that does the drop pass.

Basically every team does the drop pass…that is not the issue.

The execution of it is.
On the next pp we get, use your phone to record the seconds we waste with the drop pass and I guarantee you it will be close to 30 seconds. It accomplishes nothing, the other team just crowds the blueline while our forwards stand still to limit the risk of being offside, it's stupid and we should stop it.

Yeah. I think posters here to come to term with how long rebuilds actually are.
