It’s a tough break for the US because there was bound to be a bit of a letdown after the rivalry game with Canada, despite the outcome, and the coaching staff didn’t really get the opportunity to get them reset for the game against Germany.

Yep, Canada tends to have let downs after the big games and then playing the lower level teams also.
