If anyone wants to go to the watch party

Looking for a place to watch tonight’s game?
Check out the Inn Field Pub in Sunrise; off Oakland Park Boulevard just west of Hiatus less than two miles from the arena. Sound will be on, 20 televisions. Lots of specials. Tell ‘em Florida Hockey Now sent ya. (Facebook)

I’ve said it a couple times now but no team took Tampa any farther than 6 last year. Considering we did it without one of the best defensemen in the league, it’s already a solid accomplishment. Yes, Tampa isn’t playing as well as last year but they’re mostly the same team and added Stamkos. Excited to see what happens the next few days but I’m not disappointed in the series now that we got the win Monday.

Yeah, Stamkos only played one game last playoffs.

If we can stay out of the box, we can win this. Tampa has been nothing special at 5 vs 5.

Not impressed at all by this team. Their PP is scary, but that's about it. Even Vasi has been average.

They have good depth on paper, but it doesn't really translate on the ice IMO. Maybe beacause we are actually very good?

If Bobrovsky is scratched again that tells you his current stock with this franchise is really, really low. You have to wonder how he's feeling right now.

Like Evander Kane prior to his Lender's seeing this photo:

Ugh sounds tempting if I didn't have to do some work tonight while watching.

In his Instagram like a day ago he posted a video of Game 5, from the looks of it, it was from the Press Box.

Bob strikes me as a team first guy and a decent guy who cares a lot for what he does honestly, I'm pretty sure the guy is owning to his shitty play and understands why things are the way they are right now. Sometimes I get pissed and want to rip on the guy but damn, not really his fault Tallon was trigger happy in 2019 and threw the bank at him for previous success than sadly hasn't aged well.

Yeah he seems like a realist, he knows he's mediocre. Which is probably why he's having a hard time bouncing back.

Weegar and Stralman shouldn't play together because they're too slow.
Gudas and Montour shouldn't play together because they're both space cadets.
Nutivaara needs to play with somebody who is defensively reliable and can take care of the crease.

The line up should be the following...

Weegar - Montour/Gudas
Forsling - Gudas/Montour
Nutivaara - Stralman

why would you break up Weegar-Stralman when they had a great last game in a 4-1 win? Forsling and Gudas have been ok and I doubt we’ll see much of Nuti and Montour.

Hope Weegs has a solid game. Frank, Duke, and Wenn scoring would be good. I’d also take Sasha going off.

Not sure how Duke is supposed to achieve anything on the fourth TBH. He should at least be on the third in place of Vatrano. Frank the tank has been more or less invisible since game 1. Fourth line would be all grit and speed, forechecking efficient, and the third could actually turn out to be offensively productive. Wennberg is capable of scoring when he's elevated by his line mates, something Vatrano simply can't do. I hope I'm proven wrong tonight, but I find it a bit mind boggling to have duke buried on the fourth...
