Bennett has taken 2 dumb penalties. Bigger problems: Bad goaltending, bad defense, and really bad penalty killing.

Yup. People blaming this on bennet is laughable. If Barkov huby or any of our stars would actually should the puck. If coaching could change the special teams or adjust even a bit. I think coaching and special teams has been the biggest problem other than goaltending. Bennett’s two penalties while not great aren’t even top 5

Am I crazy to just put it on Bennett? Game 1, up late and looking good up against an unstoppable PP and he takes a hilariously bad penalty, game 6, buzzing, so close and he takes another hilariously bad penalty.

Both led to backbreaking goals, both were clearly penalties.

this team's played hard the entire series and tried to play to its strengths. bennett's made some mistakes but so have others.

let's just rejoice in a great, competitive series.

is it really? When we matchup with the bruins, islanders, lightning, leafs? Teams with years and years of playoff experience that know how to make plays with zero time and space and play responsible D (not Toronto lol)?

Verhaeghe is not disappeared offensively. He is creating chances. Our offense in general today has problems with execution/getting bounces/puck luck

There's so much less traffic in front of the net on all of the shots they've taken. Any shot we take is clogged with bodies between us and the net. It sucks.
