Yup. Love Bennett but wow was he an idiot. Weegar was attrocious all series. Bob I could write a novel, Yandle has been mitigated and won’t be a factor next season. Next season we are adding Lundell and papa Zito is going to fix some issues. I think the team will be even better next season. Most optimistic I’ve ever been as a fan of this organization although that isn’t saying much.
Unfortunately that’s the cost of getting a guy who plays on the edge like him. He’ll have plenty of time to think about it in the off-season.
Am I crazy to just put it on Bennett? Game 1, up late and looking good up against an unstoppable PP and he takes a hilariously bad penalty, game 6, buzzing, so close and he takes another hilariously bad penalty.

I want to check the numbers but outside of Acciari (who is too slow to be a good PKer) I feel like our team is extremely averse to blocking shots. Feel it at even strength too. Our forwards look scared to pressure D men with the puck
Game 4 is basically entirely on Bob though, that was just absolutely terrible goaltending and put our team down 3-1. Weegar's just like an accumulation of bad plays every game and Driedger also had a bad game although it didn't cost us.
