I appreciate Jody trying to stay neutral on his opinion during the view.

Personally I thought it was clearly offsides after they showed the blue line angle. Glad we got a call for once.

The score seems about right. Have been outright outplayed all game. Dubi and Jenner have been disappointing no-shows this season so far

that's what happens when you wait until the last 5 minutes of the game to decide to play like your capable

But reality is this team still lacks play makers. Sam Gagner had the best set up of the night, and 43 missed an empty net

Wonder if Torts will continue to allow the offense to do nothing while playing guys like Dubi and Jenner who have done absolutely nothing to deserve any ice time.

Why have Milano on the trip if he's not going to play? Get Jenner out of the lineup and try something to shake up the team

My favorite observation from this game is that apparently that Devils fan that absolutely hates the Jackets apparently follows us around in our opponents' GDTs just to trash the Jackets. Clearly he's a closet fan. :shakehead:

Back to square one. Looked more like the first two games. Bad decision making and sloppy execution.

I wonder if the problem with Dubi and Jenner is that the Jackets are trying to play a faster game and both of those guys are pretty bad skaters and have trouble hanging on.

Based on what I've seen for two years Torts is not the Torts of old, he was given his marching orders to get the job... this is Torts last gig.....

Offense needs a shakeup. Jenner is a no show. Replace him with Milano. That seems so obvious. I cannot understand the delay in taking action.

I agree. But for what its worth, I remember Torts saying he didn't want to sacrifice the leadership on the bench that Boone provides.

Currently Boone "leadership" is to move slowly down the ice and show up late to the defensive zone. It seems to me that when guys are not playing well, their ability to "lead" is diminished because teammates are not tuned into them (and I think that is correct). "Leadership" does not put pucks in the net. We should trade "leadership" for goals scored.

I thought Jenner played well last night. Dubi is the one I'm worried about.

Someone earlier asked if its maybe the new speed that is affecting them. I can't speak for Jenner, but right now what's wrong with Dubi is that his ability to control the puck isn't close to as good as years past. Once he gets that back I'm sure he'll be fine.
