If he’s healthy and not playing that’s so dumb. Not playing on the end of a back to back makes sense but not this game is dumb af
 
Yikes, would definitely have to mean he’s hurt right? No way sitting him 2 games when he’s only played 2 games is effective load management
 
There’s some things to be optimistic about but also a shit load to be pessimistic about. Frustrating and it really does appear like we’ll be in the cellar another season

To be honest though, this type of season where you look promising but end up with the 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th overall pick is how dynasties are built. That’s what happened to Colorado the year they got Makar(they already had Landeskog, MacKinnon, and Rantanen on that roster)

I’m not saying we’ll be a dynasty but this season certainly doesn’t make it LESS likely lol

The team should be more communicative with fans. Is this management or is he dealing with an injury? We really don’t know, even with sundays game. They don’t even have to dive into specifics of an injury or anything.
 
I'm just happy he is not injured. I don't agree with this, but it is what it is. This was from Sunday, and if he was not injured Sunday, he is not injured today..

I'm on board with the load management plan. But two games in a row? Or is there an injury?

I can only defend the front office so much. We need more information, Verbeek.

It's hard to believe they aren't hiding something. Sitting him last game makes little to no sense. The little sense it made was back to back. This makes zero sense if it's "load management".

Especially for a smaller market team where you already have trouble filling seats, you might want to keep the few engaged fans you have at least somewhat in the know. Especially when it's concerning potential franchise level players.
