Well he isn't inept, I just think he is very reluctant to seal the boards sometimes when it could stop plays completely

All that Pionk play was a battle drill that all teams do in practice. Weak call

Not to pile on the guy but that's exactly what frustrates me about Connor. There was a moment there where the Carolina guy switched back toward our zone along the boards, and Connor tried to stick check him from three feet off the boards, and the guy just slid through, leading to some sustained pressure and Pionk penalty. Connor could've stopped that by just going to the boards and tying the guy up for a second...

He was totally out worked
