Bullshit. He pulled a bigger return than Ekholm, he wasn't "trying to find a place in the league" he was a young up and coming stud Dman who had 28pts in 36 games while leading the yotes in +/-.

Plenty thought he was a better bet than Ekholm. We chose the win now option, didn't win then and now that the 34yo with a million miles on his skates is slowing down, our D looks like shit meanwhile Chychrun plays big minutes on one of the best teams in the league.
