Positive note. Savoie looked great. His speed and IQ shining. I’ve noticed it a few times now he has a great stick. This goes for both offence and defence. He’s kept plays alive, leading to sustained zone time going north and he’s been very disruptive on the backcheck. He’s showed a detailed pro approach early on. Very positive signs

The team is not terrible Jimmi. They have a handful of guys playing well below their capability and proven track record. That won’t last. The real concern is that they also have a couple of guys who probably aren’t capable of playing the role they are currently being asked to fill. It’s a worry, but it doesn’t make the team terrible.

I don't know, seems like they can't win anymore, ask anyone.

Though the Oilers should pay the Sabres a bunch to flip Kapanen and Janmark for Greenway and Lafferty.

They seemed like the lack some urgency. They look slow because they aren't pushing the pace enough. Maybe they need to simplify things.

Why is anyone playing through injuries? It's February, if you need to rest, rest.

Connor, Hyman and Bouch are probably all dealing with something. Definitely confident that the first 2 are hurt. Some things you can play through and they won't get much worse or surgery is needed and it's either shut down for the year or play through it. Look at Kane last season for an example.
