The problem is Carter hasn't been right since injury himself. He can barely carry or shoot the puck which is problematic because most of his points are generating by being deadly creating shots....he went from PPG to...yeah. I feel for him because you can see the effort but we're essentially playing down an elite 1C and with an injured 2C.

His shot seems to be picking up some lately though. Maybe just me but it seems he has been able to put a little more on it, even if it hasn't meant anything so far.
