At least Hornqvist is long gone. Kings in the ozone should just throw pucks in the crease hoping for a miracle deflection, only way they will be able to score one.

The problem is Carter hasn't been right since injury himself. He can barely carry or shoot the puck which is problematic because most of his points are generating by being deadly creating shots....he went from PPG to...yeah. I feel for him because you can see the effort but we're essentially playing down an elite 1C and with an injured 2C.

His wrist or shoulder is really holding him back right now. No jam on his shots at all, even seems to be having a hard time elevating the puck. He had a chance last game right in front off a Toffoli feed from behind the net. Would have been automatic for him at the start of the year, and he completely flubbed it. Just one example of many. Still great positionally and defensively, and still drawing a fair number of calls, but he's hurting atm.
