Tough, well played loss. Its hard to recover from horrible puck luck early and a 2 goal deficit in SJ. We have got to get consistent play from that Anisimov line. They have to threaten every night. They were boss against Anaheim, so so against LA, and basically didn't factor at all against SJ.
Alot good on this trip despite only getting 3 of 6:
Bob played 3 strong games, he is really settling into last year's form at last.
Calvert's confidence and game are back, he's been on a slow climb back after that injury. Right now, he and Joey are the two forwards you know will show every night.
Jenner is quietly having a hell of a rookie campaign.
Johansen is scoring at a scary pace. He looks every bit like a ppg 1st line center right now.
Johnson is really pushing his game to the next level. I think Rimer's Olympic drama story is overhyped, but his play has definitely gone up a notch. I think he was so focused on proving he can be a solid defenseman in his own end that he neglected one of his top assets, his playing making abilities.

We kind of decided our fate in the first 10 minutes of the 3rd period. While you can expect a push, we should have been far more ready than that.
