Wisniewski has always been notorious for being a step behind, but this season and the playoffs last year it has grown to a new level.

God, I forgot about the playoffs, he was absolutely putrid

Putrid is an accurate description of the way Wiz played in the playoffs. He had a hobbled foot and a broken rib, and he was bad and he admitted it. As far as I'm concerned it was Richards' fault for playing him through it (which cost us in the playoffs) and it's nuts that Richards is scratching him now, when Wiz is playing very well, our best quarterback/passer.

Interesting reading the Preds forum.. they don't seem to have any clue who they would be making available at this point. They're guessing its Atkinson or Anisimov that their GM is looking at.

Are we playing like crap because we're wondering what is going on with Wiz, or because we're tired and the Rangers are that much better?

Mix of both?

Read right to left and I think that is the correct order.

The Jackets didn't get to bed until 2AM last night, and the Rangers are reeeaally fast. I think players are used to coaches making weird decisions, I doubt folks are that concerned about the Wiz situation, though he is popular.

Just saying a healthy scratch out of the blue with arguably their best scoring defenseman... That would have me scratching my head trying to get prepared for a damn good team like the Rangers.

The Jackets need to focus on puck movement and good quick passes. It doesn't matter how fast the other team is, the fastest team in the world isn't as fast as the puck is, and if you're passing is good you can beat them.

Edit: doesn't help that the ice sucks and the puck is constantly bouncing on us.

Puck bouncing for both teams.

Yes but puck bouncing is still going to favor the speed team over the passing team.

Maybe if we were a good passing team to begin with I could buy this. Although I guess it makes us a worse passing team.

Dano looks so good out there. Nice quick shot.

That 2013 draft could be a great one. Seems clear we have at least 2 legit NHL'ers and likely Rychel could give us three.
