I think Stauber should get a legitimate shot. Let Ingram gain his confidence back in the AHL. He isn't an NHL level goalie right now. His stats are worse than Tristan Jarry's, who got waived earlier this year.

Let's face it...Veggie seems fine to be a backup who can spot start when the #1 goes down, but this version of Ingram (the entire season) has been awful and they really need to consider making a change

Neither Stauber or Villalta are the answer...they need to go and get a legitimate #1 goalie who is top 15 minimum in the league. Until that happens, we will never be able to play meaningful games that actually are meaningful (playoffs)

Veggie isn't a top 15 goalie in the league. If we plan on being a 'cup' contender, Veggie isn't your starting goalie

His rebound control was abysmal last night for sure. But there were a lot of dirty goals on both sides.

a goalie is as only as good as the d in front of him. what would you rank shesterkin?
Average starter at best this season but with a track record that speaks for itself. If he was his normal season self the Rangers would be in a playoff spot.

Veggie is fine as our starter atm. It just shows that it doesn't matter who your G is if your team stinks like the Rags have

It matters if that starter plays well....and Shesterkin has been rather average. And when that starter takes up a lot of Cap you don't have money to protect them.

I'm expecting us to be a cup contender in 3yrs...and well, Veggie isn't going to be a starter on a cup contender and well, and who knows if Hrabal will be any good or even make NHL, and so a big question exists on finding a top 10 goalieCup contender? Veggie is 18th in SV% and 13th in GAA. So, right now he is pretty much a top 15 goalie in the NHL based on stats.

I'm watching the Vancouver game and midway thru the 3rd the shots are 28-12 in Utah's favor. Seems to me SOG is a good measure of defensive effectiveness.
