This two week break will be nice. Hopefully no one gets hurt in the 4 nations and people bash it for ruining a teams season. I'm about 70% sure that's going to happen. Thankfully there are no Sharks going (There was, but he got traded, it's Dallas's problem now) and the whole team gets time off.

You can't criticise goodrow the golden boy, he is a veteran leader who shows the young kids how to be a loser so he is doing his job perfectly.

Ah, I guess you could see it like that but I was referring to the Thursday loss. Leafs are my 2nd team since I was born in the GTA so it sucks the Canucks won lol.

I will be shocked if the play in the 4 Nations Tournament even approaches anything close to Stanley Cup level. There is no reason for these players to go as hard. They aren't winning a gold medal, it's a break in the season, and no one wants to get hurt threatening their regular season which might include a trip to the Stanley Cup Playoffs. As I see it, the only reason they are doing this is an audition for who joins the olympic team next year.

It’s not - an earlier post I pointed out Toffoli’s skating, Ferrari’s bumble f***ing when the puck isn’t settles, and Swiss cheese goalies. However, when you’re overpaid and the worst player on an awful team that had its best stretch when you were out injured, you’re going to cop criticism.

If he did anything well, I’d point out. Hell, two games ago I pointed out how it was one of his better games.
