Sens started flat.

We have shitty goaltending.. and need to play more mistake free hockey.

The first goal was a clean look .. not covered from a good spot that looked like it went off Chabot who was standing about 4 inches in front of Korpi.

The 2nd was a a PP on a really bad mistake from Chyrchrun .. the PP was avoidable. The shot from the point on a screen .. Josi had a ton of room and there was layers of traffic .. Korpi could not see it.

The Sens need to start games better. They can't sleep walk through the first 5-7 minutes and expect better results. Especially when saves are hard to come by.

Chabot has played more at ES than almost anyone else in the league these last several years and more per game than anyone. It's a fact. For most of those years, our next best OFD was Idk... Mike Rielly?

We can look at playing Chabot on the PK once his minutes get down to a reasonable number. Otherwise, typically thats what you rely on your bottom 3 quite heavily for. But clearly your implication is he's not capable and you're holding onto it.

It is a fact. but look at the names in the same salary stratosphere and check the pk time for them.

Either we're doing something rather weird with our top D guy (by salary) or there's a reason why we're doing it. Under two coaches too. And it's not working.

At least when we as a fan base defended EK for not playing PK, we were able to highlight it was because of how dominant he was at even strength and the PP .

Just over 100 games into his career with 2 large gaps where he was not available... Another 100 games in and he will be pretty special... He already is

The shots with around 13 minutes left in the 2nd are 18-9 Sens. Preds didn't have a shot for over 10 minutes in the first and only 2 in 7 minutes into the 2nd. And were behind 2-1.
